United MMA First Women's Only Open Mat Saturday

United MMA is excited to host it's first Women's only open mat on Saturday July 26th 2014. Jiu-Jitsu students from all over Southeast Texas are invited to attend to train with other area women. Women's Self Defense and Jiu-Jitsu at United MMA

The United MMA Women's Jiu-Jitsu Team is going strong!

"Self-defense, friendship and fitness all come together on the mats at United MMA!", says bluebelt Yancey Head.

United MMA offers a 30 day free trial and it costs nothing to try out a class.

The classes are taught by Pan American Champion and school owner Patrick Head. Head has 20 years of experience on the mats and is considered an expert in Brazilain Jiu-Jitsu.

United MMA Kids Summer Camp | SETX | 409-679-3161

Week 2 of United Kids MMA Summer Camp has been a blast! The kids worked on defending against school bullies in Jiu-Jitsu classes and also learned cool Muay Thai combinations while working the pads with Coach Patrick Head and Coach "Caveman". At our field trip to Sports Connection, the kids played mini golf, raced go carts, and cooled off with the chance to blast the coaches with water on the bumper boats!

The week is now ending with our Pool/Pizza Party as we say goodbye to all the friends we made.

United MMA Kids and Women compete at the Europa games in Dallas, Texas

The United MMA Competition Team traveled to Dallas, Texas to compete in the Fight To Win Europa Games Jiu-jitsu and grappling tournament over the weekend. We are really proud of all the kids and women that faught hard to bring back the hardware! This is the 2nd year United MMA has gone to Europa as a team and we plan to make this trip every year! Thank you professor Patrick Head for the excellent instructIon and coaching you give the team and and thanks to everyone who came out and supported us!
